Lakeland Country Fair 

Fell Races

Entry on the day

We have races for both Juniors & Seniors and they are run under FRA rules.

The races are free to enter but you must pay entry into the Country Fair

Race Times

1pm –  Under 11 (min age 7) Boys & Girls* 1400m with 57m of ascent

1.15pm – Under 13 / Under 15 Boys & Girls * 2200m with 77m of ascent

1.30pm – Under 17 / Under 19 Boys & Girls* 3600m with 133m of ascent

2.30pm – Senior Fell Race 8.5Km with 703m of ascent. Minimum age 18.  Runners leave the show ground and head up to the summit of Coniston Old Man, returning by a similar route. The runners take their own line apart from a marked section near the start/finish of the race.  PLEASE NOTE the use of GPS as a navigational aid is not permitted in this race.
